U.S. Man: A Play About Now

August 22 @ 7:30 pm
U.S. Man
Written by Ryan Skinner
Performed by Brett Owen
It’s the week after Christmas, a man walks through a small suburban neighborhood looking at the Christmas trees that have been discarded by most of the houses. He ponders his life, his country, the state of things and wonders what will become of him, his daughter, his town and anything and everything else.
U.S. Man is a one person show that uses humor, dark humor and a lot of drama to get into very relevant and pressing issues but more than anything…the feeling of people living in a world that they don’t see a future in and a crumbling, decaying landscape of Uber drivers, Amazon workers and OnlyFans models.
The play will jump through time, strange events and ultimately this wandering person must decide what his place is in this world and if there is any way to fix it.
