Bridget Beirne – Acting Coaching

June 20 @ 10:00 am 5:00 pm

I’m Bridget Beirne, and I’ve been a professional actor for over 25 years. I love what I do. Behind all that love is years of performances, technique, training, and study. And I want to share that with you!

I’m offering FREE, one hour private acting coaching sessions at the Arts Society of Kingston on June 20th and 21st, 2026. Sessions are one-on-one, one hour long, and scheduled on a first come, first served basis. (For teens and adults, ages 15+.)

I’ve performed in NYC and around the country, and am a member of Actors’ Equity Association. I have a BFA in Musical Theatre from the Boston Conservatory, and have helped both young people and professionals grow towards their goals. (You can read more about me here on my website!)

Private acting coaching creates a space for focused, individualized growth that isn’t always available to us in a classroom or rehearsal setting. I concentrate on text-based work, which allows for exploration through material rather than exercises or “games” alone. It provides a space to go in-depth with technique, questions, ideas, and goals in a way that is tailor-made for YOU.

This is for you if you’re:

  • A seasoned pro looking to work material or keep skills sharp (I’m with you!)
  • An actor starting out in the business and looking for a place to grow
  • A college student getting serious with university or conservatory work
  • A high school student (ages 15+) looking to learn outside of class / rehearsals or get ready for college
  • ANYONE – even if you’ve never performed before! – looking for an artistic outlet to expand creatively through acting technique

I believe that the study of acting makes you a better human, in general, through the exploration of the reality of others. Let’s develop your craft in an enjoyable, supportive, flexible, relaxed, and revelatory manner.

(Oh, and fun – let’s have fun, too!)

We can work on:

  • General acting technique development through scenes and monologues
  • Audition prep and process for any production: professional, amateur, or educational
  • Keeping skills sharp between shows or performances
  • College auditions
  • Musical theatre song interpretation (Develop your ability to “act your song” and tell the story of the character)
  • Exploration of new material or building your “rep”
  • Growth of confidence in front of audiences
  • Stronger vocal production in speech
  • Care for the artist doing the acting
  • New creative outlets for artistic expression
  • What YOU want to work on!
