Delusional middle-age wanna-be rock’n’rollers, desperately attempting to escape their day jobs, stumble into a two-bit talent show audition in hopes of catapulting themselves somewhere else fast. An unusual backstory of endeavor, descent and ensuing foolery is revealed. But might there be more to this dark tale, a transcendent possibility hidden in plain sight?
