Greetings from the ASK Education Committee — New Cultural Speakers Series

The Education Committee of ASK is launching a new Cultural Speakers Series. The new series will include talks given by speakers on a broad range of subjects from art and artists to wider cultural topics. The series is currently in development, and we would like to welcome our first scheduled speaker, Joe Mangrum. His current show, is on view in the Spotlight Gallery at ASK for the month of September, 2022.
Joe Mangrum is an installation artist and sand painter. His 45-minute presentation will discuss his work with sand paintings and the cultural context of his development. There will be a 15-minute question and answer session at the conclusion of the presentation.
Please come out and support this event! It is free of charge for ASK members and their guests. There is no need to RSVP for this initial event. Please feel free to bring your friends!

Please note that per current ASK policy, masks will be required. This session will be facilitated by the Education Committee.
