Call For Art: December & January Members’ Show

THEME: SEASONINGS

What brightens the season? What flavors the night air? What spice brings us together? What do we hope and imagine for the new year?

Submission deadline: 11/26/24, 11:59PM ET

Description: Members submit up to 2 art works of any size as well as items for our holiday sale at the December 7th opening

(cards, small prints, jewelry, crafts, ornaments).

Works can only be dropped off on scheduled drop-off dates.  Please remove your works on pick up days as announced. Artwork not picked up within 30 days of last announced pick up day will be considered abandoned, and becomes the property of ASK.

Drop-off dates:

Tues 12/3- Wed 12/4 – 1-5pm

Pick-up dates:

Tues 1/28- Wed 1/29 – 1-5pm

  • All wall art must be wired and ready for hanging at the time of drop off. Please no saw tooth hanging.
  • If also submitting items for holiday sale – all items must be labeled with price tags & name of artist.
  • All works must be original art only, no copies or reproductions.
  • No wet paint
  • All works must be for sale.
  • While great care is taken in the handling of your artwork, we cannot assume any liability for damages that may occur during the process. ASK does not provide insurance. If desired, arrange for insurance of works of art at your own expense.
  • A particular work may be submitted for an exhibition only once over a 12-month period.
  • There can be no changes to Title, Price or Work after submission.
  • There can be no submissions after the deadline.
  • ASK will coordinate the sale of artworks.*

*ASK retains 30% administrative fee from the purchase of each work sold during the duration of the exhibition or as a result of exhibiting at ASK. ASK reserves the right to not display a work of art if it is deemed discriminatory or harmful to our community.

I assert that I am a member of ASK in good standing. By submitting images, I grant permission to Arts Society of Kingston to display the submitted images, and ASK has my permission to use the images submitted to promote the exhibition through mailings, collateral materials, email, press releases, and social media.
