Our Spotlight Artists for the month of August are the mother-son duo of Nancy and Jon Campbell, with the Spotlight Exhibition titled Campbell+Campbell, Recent Paintings.

ASK’s Members Exhibition this month is Poetic License. Every month ASK provides a prompt for our members to respond to and this August member artists were asked to create new work inspired by selected poems from the Poetry Barn. Members are allowed to display up to three pieces each month, with no charge for the first piece.

Our Spotlight Solo Artist for the month of September 2022 is New York sand painter and installation artist Joe Mangrum. He will present an exhibition of permanent sand paintings on canvas and wood. This exhibit includes exciting original paintings, utilizing Mangrum’s signature technique of binding colored sand on canvas and carved-relief wood panels.

Our Spotlight Solo Artist for the month of October 2022 is New York artist Harris Diamant with an exhibition titled Headonics.

Every month ASK provides a prompt for our members to respond to and this October the theme is Death: “The acceptance of death makes life more rich and fosters better relationships with ourselves and  each other”

Every month we ask our Members to contribute work for an exhibition around a theme or specific media. This month’s theme is The Abstract Eye: Abstraction is a way of seeing the world and has unlimited possibilities of subject or content.

Our Spotlight Exhibition for the month of December 2022 is Under 30 featuring works by Hudson Valley-based artists under 30 years old in all genres, styles, and mediums.
