ASK’s Mission
Located in the historic Kingston waterfront neighborhood, Arts Society of Kingston (ASK) inspires, educates, and engages our community through accessible and diverse artistic experiences. We are dedicated to fostering creativity, supporting artists at every stage of their journey, and enhancing cultural vitality and community connection with exhibitions, performances, workshops, and events that showcase the unifying power of the arts.
What is ASK?
- A 7000+ square foot multi arts center providing visual and performing arts events, workshops, and programs for the surrounding community and region.
- A membership organization that provides artists with accessible opportunities to showcase their work, develop new projects, and create programming for the community.
- 3 Gallery and exhibition spaces that provide the community with monthly exhibitions, equaling more than 20 free art shows throughout the year.
- A state of the art 99-seat performance venue, and studio classroom, providing performances, workshops, events and programs throughout the year taught by local artists in the performing and visual arts!
