I create paintings characterized by their bright colors, swirling figures, and vibrant energy. I think my background and conditioning are in the ingredients. I was born in Cuba where I lived until the age of three, then, with my family, immigrated to the United States. Therefore, my paintings generally depict and reflect my history as well as my surroundings and experiences while expressing passion from the heart, the mainspring of life.
