How to Start a Painting
Fran Sutherland has designed this workshop painting based upon photos from a trip, a hike, a garden, or a special place. During this class, she will lead the students through the steps of planning a composition using their photos for inspiration. This will include thumbnail sketches, value studies, enlarging a photo to scale, and ways to start a painting with a watercolor, acrylic, resist, or collage painting.
Date: May 17, 10 AM – 12 Noon
