Dues are collected annually from the date you joined.



Active Member

Exhibition eligibility; May volunteer on committee(s).

Since 1995, A.S.K. has been a major force in the cultural growth and artistic vitality of the Hudson Valley. Through our art exhibitions, educational programs, special events and information resources, we have inspired tremendous growth in the number of visitors, participants and members who have enjoyed the A.S.K. experience. Among the more than 500 ASK members you will find many talented, highly-respected professional artists, as well as amateur artists and supporters of the arts. But membership is open to all and there is no requirement other than a sincere interest in the arts.

 

Associate Member

Intended for those who wish to support ASK financially only.

NON-exhibiting, receive invitations. May volunteer on committee(s)

Members' Benefits

ASK wants the membership to know what the benefits of joining ASK are.  The Board decided that 50% of all exhibitions in the ASK galleries be devoted to the membership (one must be a member to participate).

(Benefits for the performing artists are still under construction!)

A minimum of 12 Membership Exhibitions (must be a member to enter or apply)
per year:

> 1 Open Annual Members Exhibition
> 2 Open Exhibitions
> 2 Juried Exhibitions (an outside juror chosen by the Gallery Committee)
> 2 Invitational Exhibits (Gallery Committee invites from membership)
> 1 Curated (curator chosen by Gallery Committee)
> 4 Solo Exhibitions (selected by the Gallery Committee) 
> Free website portfolio profile page and/or free link to artist website           
> Receipt of the ASK E-Newsletter and notices for call for entries
> Discounts on classes, tickets, events, concerts and performances at ASK 
> A monthly invite / announcement card of all exhibitions and events
