Kari Feuer
Kari Feuer’s landscape paintings are about the atmospheric properties of the setting, not about a realistic portrayal of the scenery. Both light and air are expressed in the surface particles of the painting as they dissolve by way of scraping, dry brushing and blending to reveal the frailty of the image in our memory and mood. The horizon is the point of reference for navigating through an image that is more conceptual than realistic.
